Can I Use?

Hedge cutters, such as manual, gas-powered and electric, need regular maintenance to protect the blades. Exposure to moisture and storage cause rust and corrosion, deteriorating the material and reducing cutting power. Maintaining the blades clean and lubricated such as WD-40, improves the performance and extends the life of your hedge cutters.

To Lube and Safeguard

WD-40 is a water-displacing compound solution that eliminates moisture, prevents corrosion and also lubricates a variety of substances, such as cutter blades and hinges. Offered in aerosol and liquid form, the solution could be applied by spray nozzle or with a clean cloth.

Play it Safe

When working with hedge cutters, always wear protective clothing, such as safety glasses and gloves. Unplug electric cutters before doing any kind of maintenance, and remove the spark plug gas-powered trimmers. When applying wear a spray mask to shield yourself and if you are working outdoors, spray to the wind, not from it, or else you’ll be spraying yourself with the solution.
